• 2 kg Pork shoulder
  • 8 Slices of bacon
  • 3 Onions
  • 3 Green peppers
  • 3 Tomatoes
  • 175 ml oil
  • Caraway seeds
  • Marjoram
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • 1 tea spoon Caraway seeds
  • 1 table spoon Marjoram
  • 1 tea spoon Black pepper
  • 1 table spoon Paprika
  • 250 ml Oil
  • 1 table spoon of Bovril

For this recipe you need a rotisserie kit for your BBQ.

  1. Slice the meat in peaces of 3 X 3 cm
  2. Slice in rings the same quantity of the other ingredients (bacon, onion, green pepper, tomato)
  3. Place the ingredients on the metal stick. Alternate: tomato, pork, bacon, green pepper, onion ... tomato
  4. Than place the givanska on several aluminum foils on which you put the oil, salt, black pepper, caraway seeds and marjoram and wrap up in the foils
  5. Put on the BBQ at medium heat and rotate for about 1 and ½ h
  6. Mean time, prepare the sauce: paprika, caraway seeds, marjoram, black pepper, Bovril, oil
  7. Take the givanska out of the BBQ. Place it on a mixing bowl to keep the juice and remove the aluminum. Keep the juice you will serve it with the givanska when it will be cooked
  8. Put the givanska back on the BBQ and continue to rotate for 15 to 20 min while spreading on it the sauce with spices
  9. Serve with its juice, fried potatoes and salad
